Donations instead of Christmas presents: Our 2025 donation campaign

Spendenaktion: Plakat mit Infos über die Spende der Gutenberg AG an die Caritas Liechtenstein

For the 2024 Christmas season, we decided to donate the budget allocated for customer gifts to charitable causes. We chose two Liechtenstein non-profit organizations: Caritas Liechtenstein and Offene Jugendarbeit Liechtenstein (OJA).

Caritas Liechtenstein: Help for people in need

Since 1924, Caritas Liechtenstein, a non-profit organization, has been working to help people living in the country in difficult life situations, opening up new opportunities for those with less than optimal circumstances. The organization offers a wide range of assistance measures that provide both immediate support and long-term prospects. Through socio-educational support, for example, in cases of financial hardship, those affected receive guidance and assistance.

Caritas places particular emphasis on promoting participation in social life. This is achieved through programs such as the «KulturLegi», a card that enables low-income people to take advantage of cultural and sports activities and thus actively participate in social life. Another example is the «Runder Tisch Armut» project, in which various social institutions collaborate to develop strategies to combat poverty.

Gutenberg AG has decided to support the valuable work of Caritas with a donation of CHF 1,500. With this support, we are helping to ensure that Caritas can continue to help people in difficult life situations in the future.

Offene Jugendarbeit Liechtenstein: Spaces for young people

Offene Jugendarbeit Liechtenstein was founded in 2014 and operates youth centers and a girls' center in ten municipalities. These facilities offer young people from secondary school onwards a safe space for socializing, leisure activities, and personal development. Some centers specialize in specific topics, such as music and recording studios, podcasts, photography, or workshops, offering young people a wide range of opportunities for creative development.

In addition to providing meeting places, the OJA organizes various projects and events. One example is «Camp Hot and Cold» a joint project of the Sovort Foundation and AHA Liechtenstein. This international exchange program allows young people from different countries to try out new activities and gain intercultural experience.

The Matt Druck AG has decided to support the valuable work of Offene Jugendarbeit Liechtenstein with a donation of 700 francs.
